愛知の農園への滞在をきっかけに、農的暮らしと循環するものづくりに興味が湧く。
自然、暮らし、ものづくりの交点を探す中で和紙に惹かれ、産地を探す中で土佐和紙の高知県にたどり着く。

2021年より高知県に移住。手漉和紙づくりや、漉いた紙での創作を行う。

Myu Uchida

Born in Chiba prefecture, Japan.
I started to become interested in self-sufficient lifestyles and sustainable crafts because of my stay at an organic farm in Aichi prefecture. While I was looking for a connecting point between nature, living, and crafts, I found Washi (Japanese paper). I searched for Washi-producing districts in Japan, and I came to Kochi prefecture, which is famous for Tosa-Washi. I moved to Kochi in 2021. I’m making paper and other crafts using the paper materials. I am also a member of Washi＋（Washi＋is a theatrical company that uses performing arts to show the public the charm of Tosa Washi）.
